When thinking about Extremadura<\/a>,<\/strong> I often find myself thinking of rural Spain \u2013 the remnants of a once prosperous region, impeccably preserved ancient Roman and medieval cities. Quaint people who are known for their charming extreme\u00f1o dialect.<\/p>\n So, needless to say, I was caught completely off-guard to find that the village of Trujillo<\/strong>, home to a mere 9,000 in the province of C\u00e1ceres, hosts, perhaps, the most cutting-edge luxury winery in Spain \u2013 Bodegas Habla<\/i><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n This was my first, of hopefully many, trips<\/strong> with Wine Bus<\/strong> and its creator, Ignacio.<\/p>\n Wine Bus\u2019s business is exactly as it sounds<\/strong> \u2013 a well-crafted tourism company dedicated to taking Spaniards and foreigners alike, by bus, to many of the overlooked or hidden vineyards and wineries in the areas surrounding Madrid<\/a>\u2019s metropolitan city.<\/p>\n
